~Abilities~
Special Ability/Gift: Elysia can make people see illusions when they look into her eyes. It only takes a glance for the illusions to appear as well.
The pros: can keep an enemy from killing her depending on the illusion, this illusions look real in every possible way and sense(sight, smell, taste, feel, etc). Should the illusion try to harm the opponent, the opponent(s) will not be harmed physically but mentally and possibly emotionally. The illusions play on peoples fears most of the time.
The cons: doesn't harm the opponent(s) physically. if the opponent tries to touch the illusion, they cannot touch it there for they can eventually find out if the illusion is real or not. The illusions only last about ten minutes unless the look into her eyes again when the illusions are close to vanishing. There's a small chance that the illusion won't have anything to do with the opponent(s) fear, just the area or something happy. When looking into a mirror or something similar, Elysia has a chance of seeing an illusion

Physical Looks: The picture. Height: 4' 11", Weight: 87lbs, Eyes: The blue of her eyes are always moving, as if like water.

~Personality~
General Attitude/Personality: She's usually very kind hearted. And would give her life to protect someone she promised to protect. She's very keen with all of her senses but sight since she has had to depend on them. She's quiet and has the tendency to sneak up on people at times. When she has her mood swing thought her usual kind hearted self becomes one who is almost the exact opposite.
Goals: To somehow control the illusions her eyes make.
Likes: Calm areas, Night Time
Dislikes: Extremely loud people, People trying to take her blindfold off without her permission, extremely bright lights
Friendly: Depends on her mood
Fears: Her own eyes. She's scared that because of them she will not be able to get too close to anyone

History: One the rainy night of October thirteenth, Elysia Nightingale was born. She had no brothers or sisters. Elysia was a pure blood mage who was gift with the ability to control the element, lightning. Her parents, Misaki and Yuan Nightingale, seemed very proud of their daughter. However, seeming isn't everything. Her mother, Misaki, was quite jealous of her daughter. Though the question there is 'why'. She had a nice and peaceful family, a beautiful manor by a waterfall, and the gift of knowing. Though, Misaki didn't think that 'knowing' was enough and so she planned a way to get ride of her daughter. By using her gift, she knew that her daughter, Elysia, would one day try some experiments in hope of finding a way to cure some diseases. And so, Misaki waited for that day to come.

When Elysia was seven, she had learned to control her lightning abilities quite well and had started to practice fighting styles with a weapon called a kusarigama. Elysia had asked a black smith mage if he could make her one that wouldn't break, so that when using the chain of the kusarigama she wouldn't have to worry about her enemies breaking it. When the black smith had finished, he told her that the kusarigama's name was Twilight. Elysia thanked the mage for her new weapon and immediately went to practice. She became quite skilled with combining her magic with her weapon and adding her speed made her a worthy opponent for most and so was a decent fighter by an early age of nine. She had become aloud to accompany her father when he went hunting.

By the age of eleven, Elysia had read every book that was in her household. It was after reading some of the books that she began to wonder if she could come up with a way to prevent most diseases. She thought of all the different races, wondering if someone she could tie one of them into the cure. After much thought, she began to research on different thing, planning to make a cure for most illnesses. It was by the age of thirteen that she had learned that the vampires in her area never got sick. She thought that if she could somehow mix their dna with the other information she had learned that the cure she was making would be finished. When she found a vampire willing to give her blood though she had to fight to earn it and had had a very hard time but had somehow managed. After she returned home, she began to experiment again and was focused on the experimenting so much that she didn't pick up the sense of someone's mana coming down the stairs into the basement where she was working. Her mother, using a sword, attacked her daughter though the first swing missed due to Misaki being blinded by rage. When Elysia turned around after hearing and seeing the sword come close to hitting her she froze in shock momentarily. Misaki attacked again, slicing her daughter shallow across the stomach causing Elysia to fall backwards, hitting her head against a bookshelf, hard and blacking out. Her liquid experiment, being knocked over from her fall, poured to the ground, into Elysia mouth by dripping through her lips, and into her eyes which were still open due to shock. Misaki, thinking she had killed her daughter began to go insane and ran up the stair screaming that her daughter was dead and at the same time she attacked and killed anyone and everyone that came out to help or see what was going on. Elysia began to wake up, her eyes burning as well as her skin, due to the changes unknowing going on in her body. Putting a hand and a bit of her arm over the cut on her stomach she walked up the stairs. Seeing the bodies and blood through the halls and in the rooms she ran to her father's room where she found her mother just pulling the sword out of Yuan's chest. Her mother looked back at her with an insane grin and said "This would have never happened if you hadn't of been born the way you were" before she killed herself by cutting her throat. Elysia fell into shock as her body felt like it was on fire and she eventually fell to the floor unconscious.

She awoke the next night, the scent of blood all around her. The cut on her stomach had healed a bit. She got up with the mixed feelings of feeling sick and feeling hungry. She stumbled around and a servant that had managed to live saw her. Running quickly over to Elysia, the servant girl helped her stand and started to help her out of the destroyed manor. Elysia's vision was blurred and she couldn't see well. Once through the doors the servant girl started to make sure Elysia was ok but the moment she looked at her eyes she froze. Elysia asked her what was wrong and got no response. When she looked into the girls glasses she saw that her own eyes had changed and for a split second, she thought she was seeing things for she had saw a glimpse of her parents the way they were a few moments before. She shook her head to clear it the moment she saw the glimpses. Then she looked at the girl again who was still standing there. That was when Elysia started to hear the girl's blood coursing through her body. She tensed, at first not sure what the sound was. She had never heard it before though she knew some vampires could, she wasn't a vampire or so she thought. Due to the experiment she was working on entering her body she had turned half mage and half vampire. With the extreme hunger taking over her body she slowly bit the girl's neck and drained her of blood since she had had such extreme hunger and did not know when to stop. Elysia stood there in fear when she realized what she had done and ran off.

During the years she traveled, Elysia had started to call her much crueler side, Nyx. She started to search for a way to control her new found urges. Elysia had given up on trying to find a cure for herself since her mother's last words echoed through her head from time to time. Also, Elysia had started to wear a blindfold, to keep herself from causing anyone to see the illusions her eyes made them see should they ever look into them. This caused Elysia to depend much more on her other senses and also made her eyes sensitive to extremely bright lights.
